What everyone referred to as “End of the World Day” — December 21, 2012 — marked my last Paskuhan as a student. As the UST grounds were filled with Thomasians and some outsiders, my heart also was filled with both excitement and worry. Excitement because one, Urbandub and Silent Sanctuary were included in the list of guest bands; two, everyone’s going cray-cray about the so called end of the world so I was dead sure that Friday was going to be awesome (since everyone, including myself, thought it was the time of their (our) lives); and three, I was supposed to have a ‘date’ with someone I am missing the most — notice that I used ‘I am’ and not ‘I was,’ that’s because I still am missing this person. On the other hand, there was an existence of worry because Globe’s signal in UST is just so annoying and I was extra sure it will be extra crappy on that night. I felt panicky since naisip ko nang baka di namin — I mean, my supposed date and I — macontact isa’t isa and worse, di kami matuloy sa plans namin. And yes, that was my one and only reason why I was worried.
True enough, hindi kami natuloy. And even though there’s a surge of anger and bitterness up until now, I don’t think I want to go into details. Anyway, Paskuhan 2012 still managed to be fantastic, thank God! And let me just focus on that matter.
This year’s Paskuhan had 10 guest bands namely Join The Club, Mayonnaise, Paraluman, Spongecola, Letterday Story, 2 Years Apart, December Avenue, Radio Active Sago Project, and of course, Silent Sanctuary and Urbandub. If I’m not mistaken, each band played three songs. Silent Sanctuary sang Ikaw Lamang, Kundiman and Rebound while Urbandub sang First Of Summer, The Fight Is Over and Guillotine… and mind you, those songs are the songs of my life!!!!! Too bad Silent Sanctuary didn’t sing Hiling though.
Fresh pa kami lahat dito hahaha
Pero bakit ako nagliliwanag…

Again, bakit ang liwanag ko??!?

My school never fails when it comes to fireworks display, really. And what UST had in store for us this year was not an exception. Awesome awesome awesome fireworks!! Sumakit mga leeg namin sa sobrang ganda, swear. It’s like sobrang sayang ang isang second ng pagkurap!!

Two thumbs up!!!!
Another thing that made this Paskuhan special was that we were able to enjoy a good part of the night inside the railings… yup, with the SOCC people, thanks to Ate Ten.
We were only a few steps away from the stage! Actually, nasa baba lang talaga kami mismo. Hehehe.

The Tigers were also there inside the barriers and we witnessed them fanboy over Yael! Sobrang funny talaga as in nagwawala sila nung lumapit si Yael sa kung nasan kami. Oh by the way, he was being carried by a number of men. Kakaiba talaga ‘to si Yael. Crazy energy every gig!
The guy wearing stripes was Aljon and notice how he was going crazy
Kung sila extra cray-cray during Spongecola, our cray-cray moment happened during Urbandub naman. We all became extra insane when Urbandub started playing! As in nagwawala rin kami… HAHAHA

He kept on posing like that… WTF EBOY @_@
Well, defense mechanism ko lang talaga yung magwala while Urbandub was singing The Fight Is Over… medyo nag-burst heart and soul ko for a while eh. Lol!
Haggard photo hahaha

UST was turned into one huge mess

Sobrang pagod at haggard ko ba? HAHAHA
After Paskuhan, we then proceeded to Prime Upscale Club in Tomas Morato for the Paskuhan Aftermath. It was a victory party for the Tigers since they won the PCCL (Philippine Collegiate Champions League) crown on — if my memory serves me right — December 7th. Well, what can I say, our dearest team is the champion of all champions!
#nakayabangpa
Can I just say that Espanya traffic was so insane! But then again, it was Paskuhan so given na yun…

Hehehe that was Kevin Ferrer with his blue polo shirt… Too tall for my life!!

SOBRANG CROWDED NG PRIME I SWEAR!!!!!!
Oh well, that summarizes my End of the World Day. It was definitely a blast despite those plans that did not push through.
And oh, I was also so glad to have spent 80% of my 21st with my babe, Faye. I missed her so, so, so much!! Lakas talaga makabawi ni Lord <3
