The day I tried to reconnect

You who suddenly vanished,
I’ve no idea about your issues the past weeks but you could have at least gave me a hint instead of just disappearing. Thing is, you disappeared so unexpectedly — without a word, without signs, without anything — and it’s not as if I’m not giving a damn now that we stopped talking… again. I just don’t understand any of these, why you keep disappearing on me, and I don’t think you understand either. I don’t think you understand how I badly want to know what’s up. And how I badly want to mend whatever is broken. I’m still waiting, and I miss you more than you could ever imagine.

Books

WP_001033

In my attempt to start the new year right, I basically got rid of all the old, unused stuff — which I can now call “trashes” — to make room for better things. My room has been filled with so many extras that it always looked so crowded and untidy. Today, I threw every unnecessary object away. Soon, I will be blogging about how my room looks like now that I’ve already cleaned it and fixed my stuff.

For now, I wanna show you this photo of my books. Some were just borrowed from good friends though. I compiled them that way while I was cleaning. Anyway, most people aren’t aware that I am into books. I may not look like some kind of a bookworm, but I claim to be one. HAHAHA. Chos lang, di naman ako hardcore bookworm. Slight lang. But my favorite books are Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie and For One More Day. I haven’t gotten my own copy of the latter though… hoping to get one soonest! What I like about Mitch Albom’s works is that they tend to touch souls. I don’t know, I always feel like both my heart and soul are reinvigorated once I finish reading his books. It’s like they are very well fed. His stories just inspire me so much! :)

On the other hand, Sir Eros Atalia’s Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me and It’s Not That Complicated are my favorites when it comes to Filipino literature. Can I just say na sobrang na-attach talaga ako sa books na ‘to. Intoy’s story is just so intense for my life!!! Oh well, moving on… Sir Eros was my professor for two semesters and I love how he made me realize things through his crazy lectures — he does not do normal lectures and he’s not a typical professor, just sharing. Haha! And up until now, through his works, he makes me grasp realities I usually run away from.

Looking forward to more of their works and can’t wait to encounter and/or discover other good authors, too! <3

My relationship with cardigans

I don’t know why I’m not into cardigans even if they could spice up an outfit. I have a few but I don’t usually wear them or consider them part of my ‘fashion,’ unless ginawin ako. I just think it’s quite uncharacteristic of me since I’m that person who wears kulang-sa-tela clothes most of the time, if you know what I mean. Haha! I prefer wearing sleeveless or anything na di tatamaan ang armpits ko… iyakin kasi siya, dyahe naman kung litaw jabar always. :p :p :p :p

But today, I did wear a cardigan. Nasuot ko na siya once or twice, actually… but as far as I can remember, in school nga lang. Ginaw sa room eh. Hahaha!!

Good thing it was a rainy day kaya cold ang weather. Kontra jabar! Lol.
